When George Bush was running for President, he also was able to convince many Americans
that his past didn't matter. CBS actually freaked out when President Bush's National
Guard background was about to be exposed by the mainstream media. What if President
Bush's many years of alcohol abuse and periodic black outs had been a topic of
discussion? Shouldn't we have wondered what a lifetime of pampering, and not being held
responsible for his, actions had done to his character? Perhaps the whole Bush debacle
could have been avoided, and America could have elected a President that would have
represented the American people rather than only the wealthiest |

5% of the country. Had
we questioned Bush's associations with the Saudis, we may have elected a President that
would have been willing to capture or kill Bin Laden at Tora Bora in December 2001. Show
me your friends, and I'll tell you who you are.
Clearly, focusing on whether or not a candidate wears a flag pin is irrelevant . And
anyone can occasionally misspeak, and should not have that comment held over his or her
head forever. But certainly a candidate's associates and background should not be off
limits to the American public. Rev Wright sees people only in terms of black and white,
yet he is Obama's spiritual advisor, and has been for the last 20 years. William Ayers.
The fact that the media has helped Obama distance himself from this unrepentant
terrorist is as frightening to me as William Ayers himself. What about Obama's
association with Rashid Khalidi, former PLO spokesperson? Obama's record of uniting
people does not exist. Is Michele Obama's black
segregationist stance irrelevant? Maybe. What about Larry Sinclair? Rezko?Who knows? But
that?s exactly the point - we should know!
Getting angry at ABC for asking questions is crazy. If we?re going to be angry at ABC, it
should be for waiting until Obama was so far ahead in the primaries before breaking the
Rev Wright story. And in my opinion, all the major media corporations are hugely at fault
for not asking more questions.

The results of Tuesday's election has cleared Senator Obama to be the Democratic Party's nomination for the Presidency of the United States. It's clear that Senator Clinton will not be nominated and the only remaining question; when will she realize the writing on the wall and withdraw.
Senator Clinton it's now time to make a decision to withdraw from the campaign. You have two options. One being to withdraw in such a time period where you maintain the respect not only of your followers, but the followers of Barack Obama who would certainly be in your camp if he were not a candidate. Or if you decide to continue your campaign, attacking potentially the next President Of the United States, you will loose the respect of myself and others and you will undoubtedly and historically be labeled something along the line of a "sore looser". Your campaign for President is over.
I personally wish you make a decision sooner rather than later. Again early on you were the candidate for me. However I had very little knowledge of Senator Obama. Times have changed and yes this country is in dire need of exactly that, Change. Given the option for real change, I'll put my faith in Senator Obama. |

I found the debate, hosted by ABC News last night to be an insult to this voter and possibly to others. Whether I supported Senator Hillary or Senator Obama, it truly reflected how out of touch ABC News was regarding the seriousness of this campaigned season. There are real issues to be discussed. The occupation of Iraq, the soaring prices of oil, health care, and jobs in America. I guess it was their attempt of (keeping up with the Joneses), the FOX News network. I can't believe ABC News actually found the "who done it and when" arguments and questions alleged at both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to be beneficial to its audience, the American people. consider ABC News to be FOXLITE!
As for the candidates themselves, I found Hillary following the lead of the host news organization. It seemed for a while that their questions aimed at Senator Obama opened a door for her to continue to play this ridiculous gotcha game. As I recall Senator Obama had very little to say regarding her remarks when she ran for cover in Bosnia.

On behalf of the American People, we've generously agreed to continue funding the Iraqi Occupation. The amount being spent not only ensures our National Security, (strike them there before they strike us here), Security for the Iraqi people ( remember Saddam Hussein ), and stability throughout the Middle East. In addition, it contributes to the growth of our economy, ( Halliburton ,Shell,Exxon Mobile ), (SIKE) What BS. All a LIE!
Fact. We all could of benefited from the money being spent in Iraq had it not been for the lies and deceptive practices of the Bush Administration! How bout health care, affordable housing, better pay for teachers and police officers, and elderly assistance. And now we're dam broke! Fact. The Bush Administration failed you and I, they failed America. The only question? Was it incompetence or a wilful act of deception as they pandered to the few businesses at the expense of the working class Americans.
America's Modern Day Gang Of Thieves...
George Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Alberto Gonzales, Karl Rove, consider addressing the American People. Since the media won't ask you relevant questions where you provide real truthful answers, try standing in front of the American people, with hands on the American Flag, sworn under penalty of perjury. Gutless cowards!
What happened to Iraq's "weapons of mass destruction". If you truly thought they had weapons of mass destruction, when you discovered they didn't exist, why didn't you get the hell out?
Exactly what actions did you take when you were given the August 6, 2001 PDB? Mind you the title of that document was "Bin Laden determined to strike in US". As I've read the document, and found that there was nothing historical about it. The document was current and had you of acted, America could of been far better prepared.
